We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in the Durham area. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment. You will be working across multiple areas of the production process, supporting the manufacturing of food products from raw ingredient stage through to finished goods.
Location: Durham Area
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Shift: Monday – Thursday | 06:00 – 15:00 / Friday | 06:30 – 15:30
The Role:
- Weighing and preparing ingredients
- Mixing batches using industrial whisks and paddles
- Monitoring product consistency and quality
- Manual handling of materials (regular lifting up to 25kg)
- Transferring product between production areas
- Assisting with small amounts of packing and labelling
- Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Cleaning down equipment and workstations in line with food production regulations
