Help bring nature back across Staffordshire

Do you enjoy meeting new people, having meaningful conversations, and making a real difference for nature?

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is looking for enthusiastic and resilient Membership Recruiters to inspire people to support wildlife and wild places across our county.

As a Membership Recruiter, you'll represent Staffordshire Wildlife Trust at a range of pre‑booked venues and events, encouraging people to become members through a monthly direct debit donation. Every new member helps us protect and restore nature, care for local nature reserves, and inspire future generations to take action for wildlife.

What's involved?

This is a varied and rewarding role that gets you out and about across Staffordshire, meeting people from all walks of life.

You'll attend a range of locations and community events, including country shows, visitor attractions, shopping venues and seasonal events.

Using a friendly, engaging approach, you'll start conversations with members of the public, introducing them to the work of Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, helping them understand how their support can make a difference and encouraging them to become members. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to share your enthusiasm for wildlife while helping to secure vital support for conservation.

Working independently

Membership Recruiters usually work independently, although there may be opportunities to work alongside colleagues at larger events. You'll be supported by a dedicated manager and wider membership team who will provide guidance, encouragement and regular communication.

Daily hours vary depending on the venue but are typically between 10am and 4pm.

Engaging people about wildlife

We'll provide everything you need to create an engaging and professional presence, including Staffordshire Wildlife Trust branded clothing, promotional materials and display equipment.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as you'll be travelling to venues across the county.

Pre‑booked venues and events

All venues and events are arranged in advance, allowing you to focus on what you do best: talking to people and inspiring them to support nature.

You'll receive all the information you need before each event, including location details, timings and any venue‑specific requirements.
