About the Role
This role is available to existing Admissions and Applicant Engagement Advisors (International) only. We are pleased to invite applications for the role of Visa Compliance Officer (Admissions) within the Global Admissions & Applicant Engagement function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding the University's UKVI sponsor licence by ensuring robust compliance processes and high‑quality decision‑making across the applicant journey.
As a Visa Compliance Officer (Admissions), you will be responsible for assessing the eligibility of international applicants and ensuring that all decisions meet UKVI Student Route requirements. The role involves managing compliance activity across the pre‑arrival stage, supporting the University in maintaining audit readiness and minimising visa refusal risk. You will work closely with colleagues across Admissions and the wider University to provide specialist guidance on visa compliance and contribute to a consistent and high‑quality approach to sponsorship decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a compliance, regulatory, or similarly controlled environment
- Knowledge of UKVI regulations and/or international admissions processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to assess risk and make evidence‑based decisions
- Confidence in providing advice and guidance to stakeholders
