About the role

An opportunity has arisen within the Admissions Systems section of the Admissions and Applicant Engagement team at the University of Staffordshire. This role, reporting to the Admissions Systems Officer, is critical in ensuring that our processes and procedures and the data they produce are compliant with the various statutory and reporting bodies within the sector. This role is the front line support for key contacts and stakeholders at the university in relation to our systems configuration ensuring that queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. This role would suit someone with demonstrable experience of working with complex computer systems as well as those with experience of dealing with complex data sets and quality assurance protocols.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide a high quality service to university stakeholders relating to SITS/eVision and the functioning of the admissions process
  2. Work with Admissions Systems Officer on the production of high quality data sets that support our statutory reporting requirements
  3. Oversee the entry of course information on admissions entry systems, including but not limited to UCAS, DfE and other systems and monitor compliance with CMA regulations relating to entry requirements
  4. Undertake activities related to cycle readiness to maximise recruitment and conversion potential
  5. Support the Admissions Systems Officer with continuous improvement strategies that enhance the output of the wider Admissions and Applicant Services function
