We are currently recruiting for transferees at the rank of Detective Constable - CID based at Smithfield Police Facility, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent or Lichfield Police Facility, Lichfield.

Am I eligible?
- To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police Constable, you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your probationary phase.
- You must be transferring from a Home Office Force.
- Applications from Detective Constables must hold PIP2 accreditation.
- Must not have a live complaint with your home force.
Onboarding
We aim to make our onboarding process as smooth and straightforward as possible. You will be required to complete and pass a role-based interview which will focus on the competencies and values required for the role. We would like to know what skills you have to offer so that we can identify the most appropriate posting for you. Appointment will be dependent upon successfully passing pre-employment checks, vetting, and medical, which will include a drugs test and a fitness test.
