About The Opportunity:
Join us as the Strategic Recruitment Lead and shape the future workforce of Staffordshire Police. You will drive how we attract, select and welcome people who want to protect and support our communities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Recruitment and Onboarding team and guide activity across every hiring route, from police officers to staff and volunteers.
- Use data to plan future intakes and keep talent pipelines strong.
- Work closely with senior leaders and build links with schools, colleges, universities, regional forces and community groups to reach people who want a meaningful career in the public sector.
- Take charge of our employer brand and create attraction approaches that reflect our purpose and values.
- Look for better ways of working and improve the systems that support candidates from first contact to day one, ensuring every process is fair and supports consistent decision making.
- Bridge and support your team, set clear standards, and drive performance.
Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Strong knowledge of employment law.
- Experience in workforce planning and strategic recruitment.
- Experience advising senior leaders and working in a complex environment.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Residency Eligibility: Please note you will need to have been a resident in the UK for the last three years consecutively for RV Level roles and five years for MV Level roles.
