About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Recruitment and Onboarding Manager, you will provide a centralised recruitment and onboarding service, supporting line managers and delivering excellent customer service to applicants. You will be involved in both individual and bulk 360 recruitment, working with a range of stakeholders across Staffordshire Police. You will manage candidates from application through initial onboarding, including shortlisting, arranging appointments, pre‑enrolment events, interviews and assessment centres. You will operate in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment, demonstrating initiative and a common‑sense approach, extensive knowledge of recruitment processes and legislation, excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment cycles from application to onboarding.
  • Shortlist applications and arrange appointments.
  • Coordinate pre‑enrolment events, interviews and assessment centres.
  • Provide guidance and excellent customer service to applicants.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or undertaking the qualification).
  • Experience in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced recruitment environment.
