In this role you will be providing strategic finance support to the organisation and being part of enabling key strategy and policy decisions. Each Senior Finance Business Partner is aligned to a number of commands in line with Executive portfolios and is responsible for leading the development of the strategic budget setting as well as quarterly revenue and capital budget monitoring processes for identified commands.
As well as this, you'll provide outstanding leadership and support to the team aligned to you (Finance Business Partners, Finance Officers, Partnership & Income Manager) and be a member of the Financial Services department Senior Leadership Team. You will be confident at providing financial advice and guidance to organisations in order to support the delivery of the best possible service within the resources available. You will be involved in completing business cases and financial modelling as well as being responsible for determining average unit costs to improve operational resource accountability.

The role is based at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, with the opportunity for agile working. Our agile policy requires colleagues to attend their contractual place of work a minimum of 2 days per week.
