About The Opportunity

Evidential Management Officers are responsible for actively managing evidential property within stores across the Force. Operating in accordance with associated policy and procedures they will ensure that on receipt of any evidence that this is accurately recorded in the Evidence Management System (NICHE) and that they proactively manage all additions, disposals, amendments and movement of property within their stores in line with requests from Officers in the case.

Through regular reviews and audits Evidential Management Officers will ensure standards are maintained and that property levels are monitored specifically around priority items such as;

  • Forensics
  • Cash
  • Drugs
  • Firearms
