ARE YOU A MOSOVO trained PC or DC? (Police Constable with another Police Force) Staffordshire Police are currently recruiting into the MOSOVO team. We have up and coming vacancies at our Burslem, Longton and Burton sites.

'MOSOVO' is the management of Sexual or Violent offenders. Only Registered Sex Offenders and some of the most violent offenders in society qualify for this management. The robust management of these individuals genuinely helps to ensure that Staffordshire is a safer place to live and visit.

These offenders will be managed in a number of ways including, but not limited to:

  • Arrest and prosecution
  • Unannounced home visits
  • The use of civil orders such as Sexual Harm Prevention Orders (SHPO), Sexual Risk Orders (SRO), Violent Offender Orders (VOO) and Serious and Organised Crime Prevention Orders (SOCPO).
  • Working with a range of partners to reduce the risk of reoffending.

The team has a number of experienced members, which are a great support when entering into a role which is as unique and specialist at MOSOVO.

To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police Constable or Detective Constable, you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your probationary period.

Onboarding: We aim to make our onboarding process as smooth and straightforward as possible. You will be required to complete and pass a role-based interview which will focus on the competencies and values required for the role. We would like to know what skills you have to offer so that we can identify the most appropriate posting for you.

Appointment will be dependent upon successfully passing pre-employment checks, vetting, and medical, which will include a drugs test and a fitness test.
