The Education Commissioning Team is seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to join as a Commissioning Support Officer. You will be part of a friendly, hardworking, and committed team within the Children and Families Directorate.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Education Commissioning team with various activities related to education, special educational needs and disabilities, and alternative provision.
- Manage the use of AV1 Robots as educational tools, including allocation, monitoring usage, and assisting staff and schools with information about AV1s.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for processes involved in the alternative provision dynamic purchasing system (DPS), including:
- Monitoring attendance of children and young people in alternative provision.
- Developing and analysing surveys.
- Carrying out data entry and processing related data.
- Managing day-to-day administration of the DPS.
The Ideal Candidate
- NVQ III in Business Administration (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
- ICT skills, including proficiency in Excel, data collection, and analysis techniques.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A passion for working with practitioners and improving outcomes for children and young people.
