About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Resilience Officer to join a dynamic and fast‑paced Risk & Resilience team at the heart of a busy organisation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a broad and critical portfolio, supporting key functions including risk management, insurance, complaints handling, business continuity and other essential activities that underpin organisational resilience.

We are looking for someone who can manage workload effectively and stay focused during busy periods and can confidently manage competing priorities. You will play a key role in supporting the Strategic Risk Manager in the day‑to‑day running of services.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships across teams. You will demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while confidently seeking guidance when needed. A proactive and solution‑focused attitude is essential, along with a willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges. Strong IT skills are required, as is the ability to prioritise work effectively in line with business needs. You should be comfortable using your initiative and show sound judgement in balancing workload demands.
