Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Social Workers or Senior Practitioners to join a dynamic Children\’s Duty Team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, making a real difference in the lives of children and families.
Location: Springvale, Cannock
Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Up to £33.30 per hour (Umbrella, depending on experience and role banding)
Parking: Free on-site parking available
Key Responsibilities
- Taking duty referrals and responding promptly to concerns
- Section 47 investigations
- Initial visits and completion of Child and Family Assessments
- Occasionally providing initial evidence to court
- During duty periods you will have dedicated duty days for better case management
