You will be working within Duty or Assessment (AST) teams, managing a varied caseload and undertaking key statutory responsibilities, including:

  • Completing assessments and risk management
  • Managing duty responsibilities, including referrals and safeguarding concerns
  • Undertaking care planning and reviews
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice standards

Qualifications

  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Proven experience in Children's or Adult Services within Duty/Assessment settings
  • Strong assessment, safeguarding and case management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced statutory environment
