Join to apply for the Provider Management Officer role at Staffordshire County Council. We have an exciting opportunity within the Skills and Employability Team for a Provider Management Officer. The Provider Management Officer will be required to work across the Skills and Employability service to co‑ordinate, develop, implement and monitor provider management processes. The role will be based in Staffordshire Place 1, in the centre of Stafford town, with the option to work remotely. This is a fixed term for 2 years.
In this role you will:
- Implement and manage robust provider management processes across a variety of skills & employability programmes.
- Work with commissioned providers to ensure that the funding and resources allocated are deployed appropriately and effectively.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Providers, to promote an ethos of continuous improvement.
- Work with others to prepare and maintain the necessary documentation to develop and implement streamlined and efficient policies and procedures to manage commissioned provision.
- Contribute towards the development of relevant performance management and improvement strategies to ensure achievement of the required performance measures and outcomes.
You will have:
- Significant experience of managing skills and employability provision and programmes.
- Experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for effective service delivery of skills and employability programmes adhering to funding guidance and regulations.
- Experience of managing contracts using a risk-based approach to assurance, accountability, improvement and intervention.
- Knowledge of commissioning processes and principles to underpin service design and delivery and to assure high quality outcomes.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, systematically and efficiently, under pressure and as part of a team.
Interviews will take place week commencing 24th November.
