Are you a highly organised and proactive professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking an exceptional Executive Support Officer to work 3 days a week (22 hours) on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2026, primarily Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Flexibility is important. The role is office-based with flexible home working arrangements based on business needs.
Main Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Executive Support Officer with a \’can do\’ attitude to join our team. You will work closely with our Senior Leadership and Wider Leadership Teams, providing an exceptional level of support and engaging regularly with other areas of the Council.

- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Leadership Team and Wider Leadership Team.
- Managing schedules, meetings, and communications effectively.
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Minuting internal and external meetings, face-to-face and via Microsoft Teams.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience supporting at a senior level.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A \’can do\’ attitude.
- Experience in taking accurate action notes of meetings, including multi-agency meetings.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible working arrangements are supported.
