We are urgently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS / Cost Consultant) to join our prestigious, award-winning Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy in the West Midlands. This is a Full-Time, Permanent role based on major government framework projects across the Worcester area. This is a key position offering the chance to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive, growing team. Role Requirements & Responsibilities:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage your own workload and mentor junior staff on diverse government framework projects.
Essential Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant within a Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy (PQS) or a specialist chartered consultancy. Candidates from a Contractor background looking to transition to PQS will also be considered.
- Education: Degree Qualification in a Construction-related subject (commonly RICS-accredited Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management).
- Mobility: Must hold a Full, Clean UK Driving Licence and be able to travel across the Worcestershire region for site and client meetings.
- Soft Skills: Strong Client Liaison and communication skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects autonomously and mentor others.
Desirable Status:
- MRICS Charter is highly desirable but not mandatory. Full and exceptional support for the APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) is provided.
