Stafford Junior School is seeking to appoint an inspirational Key Stage 2 Teacher who can inspire and motivate pupils to be the very best that they can be. This role would be suitable for early career teachers or experienced teachers.
We are looking for a highly motivated, committed professional who is passionate and enthusiastic to join in the continued development and success of our pupils. Our OFSTED inspection in July 2024 confirmed that we are a good school with outstanding personal development, recognising that ‘the school has gone from strength to strength in recent years’.
Pupils enjoy their vibrant and inclusive school, which provides them with a strong quality of education. There are clear and well-sequenced curriculums in place, and pupils are keen to learn. Teachers confidently insist upon the highest standards of behaviour in classrooms and around the school, so that pupils can focus on their learning.
The school has developed an exceptionally strong programme to support pupils’ personal, social and health education, helping them learn to self-regulate and develop their working memory, flexible thinking and self-control. Pupils’ confidence in public speaking is highly evident.
We are looking for a teacher who will genuinely care about our children, take time to get to know them, nurture their individual talents, and support them both personally and academically. The ideal candidate will be:
- an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations of children's learning and behaviour
- strong in communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster good professional relationships quickly with pupils, families and external partners
- capable of fostering a culture of enthusiasm, creativity and positivity, empowering our wonderful pupils
- possessing a positive outlook, integrity, determination and resilience with high expectations of themselves
- someone who champions a sense of pride in our community
- passionate about teaching and empowering pupils to succeed
In return, we offer a supportive working environment, with a commitment to staff development and wellbeing. If you would like to join a school focused on creating an inclusive environment where children are empowered to be their best, then please apply.
We would strongly recommend candidates visit our school prior to an application to appreciate the potential of this opportunity. Interested candidates should contact the Head of School, Mrs Corrine Crawford, via the school office at office@stafford.cet.uk to arrange a visit.
