Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of repairing pumps and motors looking for a new opportunity? Our client is a leading manufacturer in Hereford looking to add the skills and experience of a maintenance engineer to join their engineering team. Ideally, you will have experience working within a manufacturing or facilities environment conducting pre-planned and reactive maintenance to production equipment.
Main duties:
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Ensuring quick reaction to any breakdowns that occur.
- Maintaining key spares for equipment and spare items of equipment.
- Carrying out mechanical installations.
- General repair and upkeep of the building infrastructure.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Scheduling PPM and repairs for equipment.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Hereford, double day shift pattern Monday to Friday, no weekends 0600-1400 / 1400-2200. Enhanced benefits package.
