We're recruiting for a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Market Harborough on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.
Salary: £13.50 - £16 per hour (depending on experience). Overtime available outside of core hours paying time and half.
Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday and 07:30 - 12:30 on Friday (30-minute lunch break).
The Role: As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for turning flat sheets of stainless steel into high-quality metal structures and components. This role requires precision, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator.
- Perform high-quality welding, including thin-gauge sheet metal.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience with metal bending and forming.
- Operate a variety of machinery, including press brakes, rollers, guillotines, and CNC equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
