Are you a Mechanical design engineer looking for clear progression into a Senior Design Engineer's role? Do you have experience within a Manufacturing environment with Tooling design experience? In this role, you will be required to design and produce both 2D and 3D tooling designs in line with technical and commercial requirements using Inventor and AutoCAD. You will be responsible for the upkeep of all documentation and files relating to the design of tooling systems used in the manufacture of parts for building systems. Monitoring tooling assembly builds to ensure quality.
- Monitoring and improving processes.
- Excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks software, AutoCAD (other packages will be trained).
- HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
- Ability to react positively and calmly with sudden and unexpected changes in demand.
- Good interpersonal skills, with experience of building professional relationships across the business.
