Overview
Warehouse and Trade Counter Operative. Permanent or Temp to Perm. Location: S74. Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week. 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday. Salary: Circa £25k-£27k per year basic. Negotiable for the right candidate. 20 days flexible holidays per calendar year + stats. Profit share inclusion after 1 full year service. Pension.
The Job
Receive, check, and book-in deliveries. Pick, pack, bag, repack & despatch customer orders. Serve trade counter customers and process sales. Arrange national & international courier shipments. Keep stock organised, replenished & shelf-ready. Assist with general product handling and preparation. Ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations.
Requirements / Qualifications
- You should have previous trade counter & wholesale warehouse/stores experience.
- The ability to learn about the range of products and an eye for detail.
- Strong customer service & teamwork skills.
- Counterbalance Lift Truck licence desirable (training available).
