On behalf of our client, we are seeking applications for the position of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a Warehouse environment. The position is based near Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
You will be an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally from a distribution or warehousing environment. This is a key role for the site and you will take the lead in the reactive and PPM of systems across the site, including mechanical, electrical and pneumatic. As such, knowledge of automated warehouse systems would be an advantage.
- Maintenance of site systems and machinery through scheduled maintenance.
- Engage and manage external contractors.
- Reactive response to breakdowns in order to minimise downtime.
- Manage the delivery of system and machinery related projects across site.
You should hold a relevant qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) to Level 3 or above, have experience within a maintenance team/department, and possess knowledge of automated conveyor systems. Previous experience of fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems is essential. IOSH or NEBOSH certification is preferred, as is experience of supervision of a technical team.
