Stafforce Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work safely at all times, following site procedures and completing risk assessments prior to tasks
  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems remain compliant with relevant standards
  • Respond to breakdowns and faults quickly and effectively (both electrical and mechanical)
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities
  • Undertake electrical installation work as required
  • Utilise site systems and data to manage electrical and control systems
  • Support and liaise with third-party contractors on-site
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business

What We're Looking For

  • Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Multi-skilled experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong fault-finding ability (mechanical and/or electrical)
  • Experience or knowledge of PLCs and control systems (preferred)
  • Good IT skills and ability to use maintenance systems
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
