We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer for an established manufacturer in the Blaenau Gwent area. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for transforming various pieces of office furniture by applying fabric, padding, and other materials, ensuring they meet our high standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble office furniture components as required.
  • Fabricate custom upholstery pieces based on specific design requirements.
  • Operate power tools safely and efficiently for cutting and shaping materials.
  • Perform heavy lifting to move large furniture items throughout the workshop.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

Experience

  • Proven experience in upholstery or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the workings of various furniture designs.

Job Type: Full-time-Permanent

Pay: £14-15 per hour DOE
