We're recruiting for experienced CNC Turners to join a well-established, privately owned engineering company with a strong team culture and modern CNC turning facilities. This is a turning-only role working on high-precision components - not button-pushing, not rushed production.
Pay & Shifts:
- Days: Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00, Friday: 08:00-13:00, Salary up to £40,000
- Twilight: Monday-Thursday: 16:30-02:45, Salary up to £40,000 plus 30% shift allowance, OTE up to £52,000
- Monthly bonus linked to company turnover, Average £2,700 per year (around £250 per month)
- Annual loyalty bonus
- 32 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
- 6% employer pension contribution
- 2x salary death in service
What you’ll be doing:
- Set, prove out and run multi-axis CNC turning centres
- Work with Mazatrol (Smooth) and/or Fanuc controls
- Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Inspect your own first-off and in-process work
- Read and work from engineering drawings
What we’re looking for:
- Proven CNC turning experience
- Mazatrol (Smooth preferred) and/or Fanuc knowledge
- Experience using multi spindle or sliding head machine tools
- Precision engineering background
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Team player with a safe, professional approach
