We're recruiting for a Cleaner to join our well-established client based in Southwell, Newark & Sherwood (NG25) on a part time, temporary ongoing basis.
Salary: £12.21 per hour (increasing to £12.71 in April 2026).
Hours: 25 hours per week. Standard hours are 06:30 - 11:30 Monday - Friday. However, flexibility for later start can be arranged for the right candidate.
The Role:
You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness across our clients office and workshop area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
- Hygiene: Sanitising surfaces, cleaning toilets and kitchens.
- Maintenance: Emptying bins, waste disposal, and restocking cleaning supplies.
- Safety: Adhering to Health & Safety regulations, COSHH, and using equipment safely.
- Reporting: Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
