Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician - Wakefield

Salary: £46,000

Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: 5:45am - 2:00pm (Days)
  • Week 2: 9:45pm - 6:00am (Nights) + Sunday 6:30am - 1:30pm
  • Week 3: 1:45pm - 10:00pm (Back shift)

Stafforce Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician for a busy automated depot in Wakefield. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced engineering environment, responsible for maintaining and improving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems across automated production and conveyor equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Rapid response to breakdowns and fault finding
  • Maintenance of automated picking and conveyor systems
  • Supporting technical projects and external contractors
  • Ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime

What we're looking for:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong fault-finding experience across electrical, mechanical & pneumatic systems
  • Experience within a maintenance/industrial environment
  • Exposure to automated systems (desirable)
  • IOSH/NEBOSH (desirable)
