Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Handballers to work with our client based in the S20 area of Sheffield. This is a physically demanding role involving the manual unloading, moving and handling of heavy products continuously throughout the working day. The successful candidate must be physically fit, reliable and comfortable carrying out repetitive heavy lifting duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manually unload containers, trailers and deliveries.
  • Lift, move and stack products safely and efficiently.
  • Palletise and organise stock within the warehouse.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Support the warehouse team with general duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or handballing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to carry out heavy lifting continuously throughout the day.
  • Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Health and safety conscious.

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and is comfortable with heavy manual handling on a daily basis. Due to the nature of the products, you will be undertaking heavy lifting for the majority of your shift, so candidates must be fit, capable and prepared for a hands-on role.
