Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours days & nights
- Days - 6am-4pm
- Nights - M-W, 8pm-6am, T 4pm-2am
Pay: Β£12.93 + 15% Shift Allowance
The Job
A Mill Team Worker will be responsible for carrying out all operation activities in the mill area while ensuring the strictest of Health and Safety processes.
Duties
- To assist with mill set ups, during size/pass changes.
- To assist the Roller Operative to ensure that plant operation is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work to complete the production in accordance with the planned output.
- To cut and remove scrap.
- To perform all required mill duties as necessary.
- Liaise with Supervisor/Team regarding production issues and plant maintenance requirements.
- To perform first line maintenance as required.
- Assist and undertake other duties as necessary in a safe manner.
- Carry out manual handling of product, tools, machinery etc. in a safe manner.
