Stafforce Recruitment is recruiting a hands-on General Works Operator to support workshop, stock, and despatch operations within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a varied role ideal for someone practical, reliable, and safety-focused.
Pay & Benefits
- £12.71 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Weekly pay
- 39 hours per week (early finish Friday)
- Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays
- Pension scheme + health cash plan (after probation)
Key Duties
- Operate workshop machinery (cutting, drilling, bending, punching, tapping)
- Measure and process materials to required specifications
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, and laser processing support
- Handle goods-in, stock movement, and material control
- Pack, label, and prepare orders for despatch
- Complete job and despatch documentation accurately
Candidate Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or workshop experience
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, organised, and safety-conscious
- FLT/crane experience desirable (not essential)
