Peel Ports (Sheerness) is recruiting for 10 Counter Balance FLT/Heavy Plant Drivers with a minimum of B1 category on their licence and proven experience to work for our prestigious client at the Port of Sheerness. We have various vacancies ranging from FLT Drivers to Reeler Drivers, Tug Drivers & other Plant Driving opportunities. Various shifts are available including days, nights and weekends, so flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Operate counterbalance forklift and other plant machinery in a port environment.
  • Maintain a valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Licence or alternative plant licences with proven experience.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and port procedures.
  • Work across different roles (FLT Driver, Reeler Driver, Tug Driver and other plant driving opportunities) as required.
