Stafforce are looking for a Machine Operative, offering immediate starts for our client in Scunthorpe, DN16. We are recruiting reliable, hardworking Machine Operatives to work on the weekends in partnership with TAYTO/Golden Wonder. Main Purpose of Role:
- Responsible for operating machines on a production line.
- Operate all machines/equipment inline with training guidelines, giving particular consideration to health and safety guidelines at all times and wearing the correct PPE for each task.
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of other machine operator roles and responsibilities as well as an understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes.
- Monitor and maintain product quality in accordance with training guidelines and customer requirements to include dates, seals and weight checks.
- Carry out all necessary quality, HACCP, safety and flavour checks, including completing paperwork as required.
- Optimise machine/equipment set‑up, evaluate and correct faults within job authority, escalating issues to the Engineering Department as required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties suitable to the level and responsibilities of this role as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Manufacturing experience within an FMCG environment.
- Numerate and literate.
- Self‑motivated.

- Maintain personal and factory hygiene standards.
- Assist with any training/retraining as requested.
