Wiredrawer in Rotherham
£15.83 per hour
Temporary to Permanent
Rotating Shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am
Stafforce Recruitment are recruiting for a Wiredrawer to join a leading manufacturing company in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity offering long-term work with the chance of a permanent contract.
The Role
- Operate wiredrawing machinery to produce wire to customer specifications
- Monitor machinery to ensure efficient production
- Carry out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Operate a butt welder when required
- Report machine faults to the maintenance team
- Load and unload materials using FLTs and overhead cranes (where authorised)
- Complete production records and follow Health & Safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing or factory experience (steel industry experience desirable)
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- FLT licence desirable but not essential
