Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Setter to join a growing, well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate Vertical Machining Centres
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Adjust work/tool offsets and carry out tooling changes
  • Prove out programmes and set up new jobs
  • Work with jigs and fixtures to machine parts to specification
  • Complete route cards, documentation, and ensure correct labelling
  • Maintain tool inventory and programme registers
  • Monitor coolant levels and maintain machine cleanliness
  • Ensure parts move through production correctly and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Experience in CNC machining, setting and operating (essential)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machining processes
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
