We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to oversee warehouse and dockside operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in FLT B1 operations, stevedoring, and warehouse logistics, who can lead a team in a fast-paced port environment.

Job Role

  • Lead and supervise a team across warehouse and dockside operations
  • Oversee loading and unloading of vessels (stevedoring duties)
  • Ensure safe and efficient cargo handling and movement
  • Operate FLT (B1 Counterbalance) and other MHE when required
  • Manage goods in/out, stock control, and dispatch activities
  • Monitor and drive team performance and productivity (KPIs)
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations
  • Conduct briefings, training, and mentoring of staff
  • Liaise with port operations, transport, and management teams
  • Support continuous improvement within warehouse and dock processes

Requirements

  • Valid FLT B1 (Counterbalance) licence
  • Proven experience in stevedoring / dockside operations
  • Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety in a port/industrial environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
