Port Operator
Location: Immingham Dock
Salary: £12.21 - £15.07 per hour
Roles: Part-time and full-time roles available

Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy plant and machinery to achieve the safe and efficient handling of cargo, including loading shovels, tug-masters, forklifts, bagging plants, and materials handlers.
- Undergo training to operate new and additional plant and equipment as required to meet customer and operational needs.
- Engage in the safe movement of cargo in storage areas, warehouses, and on vessels.
- Assist in the operation of the weighbridge and record and compile administrative information related to cargo movement and handling accessories.
- Work with IT systems and software packages.
- Perform cleaning and general maintenance duties to ensure port operations run smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with licences for cargo handling.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Full UK Driving License
- Ability to operate heavy plant and machinery, including material handlers, telehandlers, and loading shovels
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
