  • We are recruiting an experienced candidate to join a manufacturing company based on Melton Industrial Estate (HU14).
  • This is a permanent placement opportunity with a starting pay rate of
  • £13.92 per hour rising to

£15.36 per hour after 12 weeks, with overtime paid at premium rates.

Must be able to drive due to location.

  • Shift pattern / Working hours
  • Monday to Friday rotating shifts
  • Week 1: Mon–Thu 6:00am – 2:30pm; Fri 6:00am – 10:50am
  • Week 2: Mon–Thu 2:30pm – 12:10am (off on a Friday)
  • Start date / Duration

The Machine Operative role is a Temp to Perm contract that will commence with immediate effect. If you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

  • Job responsibilities
  • Manufacture shower trays and other bathroom products using various machines
  • Work to product specifications to produce different product types
  • Operate numerous machines, which may involve continuous heavy lifting
  • Attend morning meetings to discuss the day’s duties and receive training on tasks
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations at all times
  • Keep workspaces clean and tidy
  • The successful candidate
  • Must have own car/motorbike due to location
  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
  • Be willing to learn new skills quickly
  • Have a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to progress
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
