Tessport is recruiting reliable and safety-focused drivers to support ferry operations, moving containers on and off RoRo vessels. If you have experience driving a TUG, HGV, or Arctic vehicles, this is an excellent opportunity to step into port operations with full RoRo training provided.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating TUG vehicles within the ferry terminal
- Pushing and positioning containers onto ferries
- Supporting RoRo loading teams
- Working safely around heavy machinery and moving vehicles
Pay & Hours
- £17.03 per hour
- Paid 7.5 hours per shift (30-minute unpaid break)
- 3 days per week, including some weekends
Typical Shift Patterns
- Tuesday: 14:00 - 22:00
- Wednesday: 14:00 - 22:00
- Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00
- Saturday: 02:00 - 10:00
- Sunday: 06:00 - 14:00
(You will work three of these shifts per week. Some flexibility may be required.)
Training & Start Dates
Full RoRo training provided. First two operators required by 6 July. Next two operators begin training 27 July.

- Experience driving a TUG, HGV, or Arctic vehicle (essential)
- Ability to work safely in a busy port environment
- Reliability and willingness to work weekend shifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
