Maintenance Technician

We are pleased to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our international client in the Blackwood area. Job Purpose To maximise the department machines' output and maintain the manufacturing processes within the designed specification. Activities & Responsibilities * Provision of engineering and operational support to a manufacturing area * Machine setting, to achieve product specification and performance * Maintenance of automated inspection systems * Fault finding and corrective action * Machine inspection * Responding to minor breakdowns * Preventative maintenance * Major breakdowns * To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements, GMP and company policies and procedures. * Preparation of sub-assembly * Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager Education & Qualifications * A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship Benefits * 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays * Life Insurance * Salary sacrifice schemes – Cycle to work, buy/sell holidays, Tech scheme * Referral scheme This is a 3 shift pattern of days, nights and afternoons.
