Are you a proactive problem-solver with a "get stuck in" attitude? We are looking for a versatile Operations & Logistics professional to join a well-established events business in Loughborough for an initial 5-week project (could be extended). Please note; with the nature of this role, flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be required.
Salary: £12.71 per hour. Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (with flexibility required to outside these hours for company needs). Start date: Monday 25th May 2026.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Duties
- Wrapping and packaging of items for safe transportation to events
- Retrieving and returning items from the company's storage facilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Assisting with the picking, preparation, testing, maintenance, repairs and fabrication of the company's inventory of equipment, scenery, furniture and props
- Undertaking stock checks
- Cleaning of equipment and maintaining a clean working environment
- Assisting with maintenance of facilities
- Driving company vans and cars for the purpose of delivering/collecting items to site and suppliers
- Occasional travel to site locations in the UK and if required to assist with the successful delivery of live events
- When on site your role will report to the project manager and assist with the set-up and derigging of equipment, scenery, furniture and props
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines calmly and efficiently
- Strong IT skills
