We are working with a fast-growing, premium e-commerce retailer who are looking to appoint a Warehouse Manager to lead and develop their established Dartford operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking warehouse leader who can help elevate processes, improve systems and support business growth, while still maintaining strong day-to-day operational performance. This role will focus on building structure, improving workflow efficiency and driving performance through better systems and process refinement.
As Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of the warehouse operation across inbound, picking, packing and despatch, ensuring efficient, accurate and scalable fulfilment for UK and international customers. You will work closely with supervisors and the wider business to improve processes, drive KPIs and support ongoing growth, helping to develop a well-structured and high-performing operation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage daily warehouse operations, including workflow planning, task allocation and team communication
- Drive process improvement and system development to support growth and efficiency
- Monitor and improve KPIs, productivity and service levels
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to a team of warehouse operatives
- Ensure stock accuracy, organisation and compliance across all warehouse areas
- Oversee inbound, picking, packing and despatch operations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and operational compliance
- Support implementation and optimisation of warehouse systems and reporting
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or Senior Warehouse Supervisor
- Strong background in distribution, e-commerce or fulfilment operations
- Proven experience managing and developing warehouse teams
- Experience improving processes, systems and operational efficiency
- Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, reporting and warehouse systems (WMS experience desirable)
- Experience with systems such as PeopleVox or similar WMS advantageous
- Forklift licence and experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Dartford
- Salary of 43,000 - 45,000
