Job description
Quality Auditors are responsible for ensuring that the product is manufactured and packed ensuring product safety, quality and legality, ensuring all food safety regulations are followed.
- Ensure all customer and legal requirements are met and product conforms to specification.
- Check incoming raw materials and ingredients ensuring they meet specification.
- Check product labels conform to requirements.
- Collecting and logging samples for lab testing.
- Supporting the production team making sure everyone complies with food safety procedures.
- Carry out process control checks.
- Carry out internal audits.
The successful candidate
- Previous quality auditing experience preferably in food production environment.
- Knowledge of production and packing products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Working understanding of Microsoft Office
- Numeracy and literacy skills
