The Role
Are you a skilled operator with a "fix-it" mindset? We are looking for a Machine Setter / Packing Operator to join a major production facility specializing in high-quality pet nutrition. This isn't just about standing on a line; it’s about taking ownership of your asset. You’ll be responsible for setting up packing lines, making technical adjustments to parameters, and ensuring the product is palletized to the highest standards. What You’ll Be Doing
- Machine Setting: Setting up and running packing lines, including product feed and bagging.
- Technical Adjustments: Fine‑tuning settings to ensure the line runs at maximum efficiency with minimum waste.
- First‑Line Maintenance: Once trained, you’ll undertake basic maintenance tasks alongside the shift engineers.
- Stock Management: Using the site’s stock system (CEMEX) to create finished product and WIP records.
- Quality: You seek the solution.
- Tech‑Savvy: Comfortable using stock control systems and adjusting machinery parameters.
- Team Player: Someone who works well with peers, Shift Managers, and Engineers.
