Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are a well‑established company based in Huddersfield, seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence to join our team. This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity offering long‑term stability, excellent working conditions, and a great employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with chemical products
- Safe handling, storage and movement of chemicals in line with health & safety procedures
- Operate a Counterbalance FLT
- Load and unload vehicles
- Palletise goods
- Put away stock and organise the warehouse
- Manual handling and lifting of products
- General warehouse and labouring duties as required
Requirements
- Valid RTITB FLT Counterbalance licence
- Proven experience working with chemical products (essential)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekly rotating shifts: 5:00 am – 1:00 pm / 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
