3 month rolling contract £15.07 (176 hours per month guaranteed) 4 on 4 off 12 hours shifts days and nights.

What is the role of a Port Administrator?
- Working as a Port Administrator at Immingham docks within a team to ensure the smooth administration of freight imports and exports with the Humber port.
- Ensuring compliance in all documentation for freight.
- Using Microsoft office and Destin8.
- Delivering excellent customer service to all port users.
- Liaising with clients and shipping agents in the timely delivery of cargo.
- Accurate record keeping.
What experience do you need to be successful as a Port Administrator?
- A successful Port administrator will thrive in a busy environment and have excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience working within the Ports and sector is highly desirable however other similar sectors will be considered such as Logistics and Warehousing, Rail or Freight.
- Previous experience using Destin8 is highly desirable.
- Previous experience using SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Customs documentation procedure is desirable but not essential.
- Team player with a flexible approach to work.
- Keen to learn new skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role such as Import Administrator, Export Co-ordinator, Port Administrator, Shipping Agent, Transport Co-ordinator, Freight Administrator or Warehouse Administrator is highly desirable.
