Location: Immingham Port

Hours: 12 hour shifts

Salary: Paid per tonne - the more you bag, the more you earn. (Can be up to £25 per hour)

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Port Plant Driver to join our operations team at a busy bulk bagging terminal. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced port environment, supporting the safe and efficient movement and bagging of bulk materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating port plant equipment (e.g. forklifts B2, loading shovels, loaders) within the bulk bagging terminal
  • Loading, unloading, and moving bulk materials and bagged products
  • Assisting with bulk bagging operations, including positioning bags and monitoring filling processes
  • Carrying out daily plant checks and basic maintenance
  • Working in accordance with site safety procedures, port regulations, and risk assessments
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the terminal
  • Supporting other operational duties as required
Requirements:
  • Valid- expired plant operator tickets (e.g. FLT, shovel, or equivalent)
  • Valid UKDL
  • Previous experience in a port, terminal, or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Desirable:
  • Experience in bulk bagging or bulk cargo handling
  • Valid Forklift licence
  • Valid loading shovel licence
  • Previous heavy plant experience
