Do you have experience with Extrusion Manufacturing, or a strong manufacturing background looking to develop a new skill? We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to work on a permanent basis. If you lack specific extrusion experience, we also have an opportunity for a trainee technician to join the extrusion team where full training will be provided.
Qualifications
- A background of working with extrusion lines would be beneficial
- Understanding of PVC and Polymers would be advantageous
- Previous experience in Manufacturing required
Responsibilities
- Correct removal and fitting of extrusion tools onto lines
- Safely stripping and cleaning extrusion tools
- Preparing lines for startup with basic safety and operational checks completed
- Preparing and loading the correct materials onto line
- Safe and correct start up and shutdown of lines with full fault identification and reporting
- Following master conditions and amending with approval where necessary to achieve correct product quality
- Product quality and specification checks and first off approval
- Fault finding and correction when product quality isn’t met
