About the Role
We are currently seeking an organised and detail-focused Export Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary basis. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for this role to become a full-time permanent position. This is a key role supporting the smooth and compliant movement of products across UK and international markets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with all legal and customer requirements
- Process and administer customer orders using SAP and other systems
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Coordinate shipments with logistics providers and internal teams
- Liaise with customers regarding orders, documentation, and queries
- Ensure all products meet retailer, legal, and country-specific export requirements
- Maintain traceability records in line with company and regulatory standards
- Work closely with Technical, Planning, Logistics, and Production teams
- Support the resolution of shipment or documentation issues efficiently
- Deliver high levels of customer service through clear communication and accuracy
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident using SAP and customer management systems
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in export administration or food manufacturing is advantageous but not essential
- Full training and support ('buddying up') will be provided until you are fully confident in the role
