The Job Role
In this job role you will be working as part of an experienced busy bodyshop team, ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standard. If you have an eye for detail and a passion for cars this could be the right role for you.
- Performing tyre diagnostics (Checking tyre conditions, pressure and tread depth)
- Replacing or repairing faulty tyres
- Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
- Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs
- Complete ramp testing
- Test drive vehicles to identify performance issues and ensure repairs are successful
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and repairs completed
What do you need to be a successful Vehicle Technician?
- Full UK Driving Licence with the ability to drive automatic and manual cars
- Light vehicle maintenance level 3
- Previous experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Mechanic
- Previous experience as a tyre fitter
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about the motor industry
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
